Denyse Umuhuza

A communications professional and a children's books author, Denyse is affable with a contagious forward-thinking spirit. She has experience working in mainstream media (radio, print magazine, and digital) as well as in project management, and partnership building. Denyse has a Masters of Management Science in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Business from Southern New Hampshire University. She has published two children's books and has worked on youth, women, and children-related projects while working on Girl Effect, LEGO Foundation, and the World Bank projects among others. In her free time, she reads, sometimes writes, or she goes hiking, does some yoga, and often enjoys singing loud in the shower.
